AEM Factory Rear Hub Socket for KTM / Ducati / MV Agusta
From this page you can choose the tool you’ll need to tighten the AEM bi-hex rear wheel nuts: all of them are billet machined from the same alloy AEM use for their nuts, these sockets are meant to be heavy duty and are hard anodized.
General Compatibility
- KTM Super Duke - 1390 R, R, R EVO GT, RR
- Large Hub – for large hub equipped Ducati bikes and MV Agusta models. It will fit the AEM Factory wheel nut with integrated slider.
- Small Hub – for small hub equipped Ducati bikes, it is double-sided so it will fit both sprocket side and wheel side nuts.
We always recommend:
- Do NOT USE PNEUMATIC GUNS, impulses can damage the anodized finish
- Use a good quality manual CALIBRATED TORQUE WRENCH with 12mm/0.5″ drive
- The good old “tape trick”, use a layer of tape around the nuts for extra care to avoid scratches while tightening/loosening
