AELLA Clutch Release Cylinder Ø37 for Suzuki Hayabusa (3rd Gen).
This clutch release cylinder increases the piston diameter to reduce the hydraulic effort required at the clutch lever.
The piston bore is increased from approximately Ø33.5 mm (OEM) to Ø37 mm, reducing lever pull force while providing a wider and more controllable clutch friction zone. This improves clutch modulation, particularly during low-speed manoeuvring and traffic riding.
The hydraulic layout integrates the bleed banjo fitting and hydraulic line connection at a single location, simplifying the design and improving service access during bleeding.
A purpose-designed piston seal has been developed specifically for the increased bore size to maintain reliable sealing performance and smooth operation.
The piston is treated with Kashima Coat, a specialised surface treatment that forms a hard, self-lubricating layer on aluminium. This reduces friction within the cylinder bore while improving wear resistance and long-term durability.

Kashima Coat is a hard anodised surface treatment that creates a low-friction, self-lubricating film on the aluminium surface.
This treatment significantly reduces friction and improves durability and wear resistance of moving components.
